How does the JaluTox treatment work?
This is an aesthetic medical procedure that combines the Jalupro product with micro-dosed botulinum toxin.
Jalupro is a skin booster containing hyaluronic acid and amino acids, aimed at improving skin hydration, elasticity, and structure.
A small amount of botulinum toxin is added to affect the superficial layer of the skin – it is intended to minimize pores, reduce redness and excess oiliness, and even out skin texture.
The skin is numbed before the procedure. Bruising or sensitivity may occur at the injection sites, especially around the eyes.
The procedure can also be done without botulinum toxin.
When will I see results, and how long do they last?
Initial results can be seen within a few days, with the full effect visible in about 4 weeks. The results last 4–6 months. To maintain the effect, the procedure can be repeated.
Pre- and post-treatment guidelines:
Avoid at least 24 hours before and after the procedure:
- Alcohol
- Caffeine
- Ibuprofen
Contraindications:
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Allergy to any of the product’s ingredients
- Active skin infections or inflammation at the injection site
- Blood clotting disorders
- Neuromuscular diseases
- Immunodeficiency
