Facial oval correction with PDO COQ threads
During the procedure, facial or neck skin is tightened by means of special threads. The material of the tightening facial threads is a polymer (polydioxanone, PDO), which melts in the skin within 3 to 6 months, stimulating the production of collagen in the skin.

What is the procedure of facial contouring with COQ threads?
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and takes 20 to 40 minutes, depending on the number of threads. Each thread is installed under the skin separately, using a special cannula. Special cones are attached to the threads (hence the name of the thread, such as HEXA COQ QUATRO), which are “anchored” to soft tissues. These help to create the tension necessary to lift the facial skin.
The thickness, number and location of the threads depends on the needs of the face and neck, the arrangement of the threads is individual. The effectiveness of the procedure is visible immediately after the procedure; however, the final result can be expected after about 6 to 9 months have passed from the second procedure.

Is the procedure painful? How long will it take to recover?
The procedure is preceded by local anesthesia, which makes the procedure easily bearable. You can immediately return to your daily activities, but it is advisable to avoid exercise and hot procedures for 2 weeks.
