The StarFormer® IntimaWave® procedure uses non-invasive HITS™ technology to selectively target muscle tissue, strengthening and toning the pelvic floor muscles. The goal of the treatment is to effectively treat urinary incontinence, while also helping to reduce lower back discomfort and muscle tension.
StarFormer® IntimaWave® is suitable for both men and women, and is especially recommended for women after childbirth and women over 50 experiencing menopause.
StarFormer® IntimaWave® is intended for the following conditions:
- Stress urinary incontinence
- Urge incontinence
- Mixed urinary incontinence
- Fecal incontinence
- Postpartum rehabilitation
- Post-surgical pelvic floor rehabilitation
- Chronic prostatitis
- Erectile dysfunction
- Circulatory-related pelvic problems
- Lower back discomfort and muscle tension
- Pelvic muscle laxity
What does the IntimaWave® procedure involve?
During the procedure, the client remains fully clothed and sits comfortably on the IntimaWave® chair. The chair contains magnetic applicators that stimulate muscle contractions throughout the pelvic floor area, increasing strength and endurance.
The result is effective and long-lasting relief from involuntary urine leakage and improved muscle tone.
The session lasts 30 minutes, and clients can even work or read during the treatment. For best results, most patients undergo a course of 6 to 8 sessions, usually done twice a week. A package of 8 sessions is also available in our online store.
