Noticed a suspicious mole? You can now have it assessed using teledermatoscopy.
How does the mole check work?
At our clinic, we use a specialized digital dermatoscope to take high-quality images of any concerning moles. These images are then securely sent to a dermatologist for evaluation.
Each mole is assessed individually, and the dermatologist provides a diagnosis along with further treatment recommendations.
If necessary, surgical removal of the mole can also be performed at our clinic.
Who is this for?
Teledermatoscopy is ideal for anyone seeking a fast and professional opinion on individual moles. Typically, 1–3 moles that cause concern are examined, such as:
- newly appeared moles
- moles that have changed in shape or color
- moles that cause discomfort (bleeding, itching, etc.)
- a single suspicious mole that is asymmetrical or darker than others
This is not a full-body mole screening but rather a targeted dermatological evaluation of specific suspicious or problematic moles.
Dermatoscopy is a well-established method in skin cancer diagnostics, allowing detailed examination of skin structures and subtle changes not visible to the naked eye. The dermatoscope enables clearer insight into the skin’s internal structures, which is especially important in early tumor detection, when visible signs are minimal.
Results are typically available within 1.6 working days.
We are an official partner clinic of Dermtest, a digital solution developed for the detection and diagnosis of malignant skin tumors, including melanoma.
